I just got my hands on an old Ricoh CD-RW model MP6200A. It's an old 2x
burner, but I was wondering if Linux supports this? More importantly, does
the burning software in Linux support it? KDE or Gnome...
Thanks

Are there any
distributions that currently have KDE in the distro? I've noticed that
most are still running with KDE 1.x. Can anyone point me to a distro I can
download?
Thanks..

December...

Question, is there a GNOME-compliant e-mail program out there? With GUI and
all?
That's pretty much it for right now ;)

Try /dev/hdc4 and make sure you have a directory called "iomega" in your mnt
directory.
AFWIW, I can't get auto to work on mine either.. wish it did!
Hope this helps..

Ok here's a question, I just installed an ATAPI Zip100 drive into good ol'
"neptune". Now Kudos' 'er what ever the hardware installation program is
called, found the drive. Went into GNOME and tried to mount the drive, but
it was not added to the Drive Management program or to the /mnt directory
I just downloaded the latest beta tarball 2.3.43, this is my first foray
into the kernel tar's. To untar the file, what commands do I use to untar
it?
Thanks..

Has anyone out there downloaded the 6.2 ISO? If so, what improvements over
6.1 have been made? Anything new in the kernel?
Thanks,
