Strangest is

Check that you have a option similar to "Plug and Play OS" set to "No" in
BIOS. This helped for me. This tells the BIOS to initialize the card and
not let the OS do it (Linux won't).

So the IDE ZIP works directly with RH Linux? Without any
kernel-reconfigure? Great. But what happens if you hardware-eject the ZIP
when it is mounted?

I removed the old apache though as this one works great for both.

KDE is impossible due to the QT library license. That's why GNOME is so
good.

Put this in your ~/.bash_profile or in /etc/profile:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/local/rvplayer5.0"
Exchange the path above for where your libraries (i.e. rvplayer) is

Looks like the folks over at real.com noticed that the Linux version
expired. Just stopped by and noticed you can now download the 5.0 GOLD

Very grateful for answers as this is not covered in any RedHat support

Use the Unix "zip" package which contain a PKZIP compatible zip/unzip. It

"--color" works
use the contrib one if it exists, I have used contribed stuff
one time to many.. costed me a production system's functionality. I only
trust RedHat's own builds until everyone in the community learn how to
make correct RPMs that work with RH5.)
