I installed apache on Fri. and had the people in the
university create a domain name for my IP
address...now I am getting "Bad Request ...your
browser sent a request that this server could not
understand...Client sent a malformed header" whenever
I connect using the FQDN, but WORKS FIN
I have an interesting situation: I have a rh6.2 new
install 32mb ram, AMD k62 300MHz CPU, and whenever I
run TOP, initially (for the 1st 3 seconds) I get the
following: If you notice the 5.6% idle CPU state is
not commensurate with the 0.0% user, system or
nice...who is cycling the bandwith?

Some NT dude asked me why he never saw me
defragmenting my Linux box amidst his NT farm, and I
told him linux does not need to be
defragmented...needless to say, the guy was visibly
STUNNED!
Although I must admit I do not know why (exactly), I

rpms in contrib but I am getting a nasty seg fault

Used to be that getting a https server (or an SSH rpm)
was as easy as going to replay...I am finding out that
replay is now some vcr-type device, and I gather that
SSH is no longer free...thus openSSH...
How about an HTTPS server? Anyone know of a howto or
RPM that provide such a service

I have a redhat 4.2 system and don't really want to
upgrade to 6.2 if I can help it, but wish to install
MySQL (latest, which reportedly requires Linux 2.0+
with LinuxThreads 0.7.1 or glibc 2.0.7). Does anybody
know if I can just add this new glibc and if it will
coexist with libc-5.3.12-18.5
I got these messages, it seems none of the /var/log/
logs got rotated because "syslogd: no process killed"
error running postrotate script.
What would cause this?

I have an AMD K62 w32mb RAM...recently upgraded to
