I found a file sendmail.cf.rpmnew. Why would this file be changed on the
standard redhat system and not sendmail.mc instead?...since sendmail.cf gets

It's been awhile since I've used up2date on my system. Today I tried,
and discovered that the SSL certificate I'd been given earlier had
expired. Going to Red Hat's website, I found that I can download a new
version of Up2date with the newer SSL certificate installed.

installed kernels.
If you've installed by compiling from source, you'll have to look in /boot
and /lib/modules.

Somehow my /mnt/floppy has become associated with Cervisia -
the CVS tool on RH9. I have been through the konqueror and
Cervisia docs and I cannot figure out how to break this
association so that konqueror will open when I click on the
fd icon instead of cervisia.

The problem is fixed. The reason: My wife who never
touches "my" main w2k machine decided that with all the fuss
over worms that she would install McAfee Firewall while I
was out of town and she needed to do some color printing [on
set up to comm with my pc]
You don't have to delete it just update it to point to new installation.
Where it says that entitlements and change the entitlements. And the
place is the profile.
