Ok, This is a stupid one.
I collapsed my xmms playlist and moved it over the panel at the top of
the screen, but instead of staying on top it dropped behind it. If I put
the focusa on xmms it comes back on top, but i have to move the mouse
over the panel to get to it which lowers it.
Anyone know

Hey all.
I've updated all my Zoot installs with the glibc update that came out
and was wondering if there was a way to reload glibc without having

Well, considering that glibc is used dynamically (being the only case
where restarting anything would make a difference), you would just
have to restart processes that use it. glibc updates are known for
breaking umount on the first unmount of the root partition after the
update. This means an

Hello Everyone,
I would like to try the following :
1) Make a custom. kernel with basicly all the NICs and FTP
2) Copy/Install this kernel on a stiffy
3) Use this stiffy to "prep" my machine (w2k) via FTP onto a FAT32 part.
Any pointers of how I can make the stiffy ? The rest I will figure out.
Yes, yes, I got that part..
The ? is what settings in the Windows box do I set? Do I set it to log onto
NT domains? or what?

I had the same problem using up2date. I downloaded the correct rpm's
manually and they installed properly. I think there must be something
wrong with the up2date links.

I am getting the same error but, only on my slower 586 machines. It is
happening on a couple of machines. Could there be a problem with the file
on the RHN for that architecture?

Hi Tomás,
Sometime early this year, I saw a presentation about this feature being
introduced into the kernel. The idea is that apps like top, samba, Konqueror
can indicate an interest in a file/directory and then sleep. They would then
be woken by a signal by the kernel when appropriate.

Most likely, yes. primarily, it depends on whether or not you know who
61.80.2.113 is. If you don't, and they really have no reason to try to
connect to that port, then Portsentry did the right thing. Either way, it
is doing its job, yes.
