I am getting the following message from my log file "/var/log/uucp/Log" &
"/var/log/uucp/Stats", this log files record the transactions of my
sendmail, my question is why my system user "bin" is sending file to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

linux and dos. I believe they are called dos2unix
and unix2dos try freshmeat for them. I haven't
used them for awhile.

I am having a very weird problem with Apache. I can not access one of my
virtual servers (that's listening on port 80) from my network. From other
IPs, Apache reply without problems but from the IP of my router, it doesn't!
If I try "telnet www.myserver.com 80" from the server itself, it

I will have to compare your ideas and the ipchains rules I have in
place. This will take a while as I am new enough at this that I have to
continually refer to books etc. I'll let you know in a couple of days -

Hi,
I just upgraded to rpm 4 and glibc 2.2 at the same time. I had to
download a few other rpms to satisfy some dependencies. After the
upgrade, according to rpm -qa, I do not have any packages installed. I
tried a rpm --rebuilddb, but it didnt fix the problem, still no packages
install

Has anybody had a problem with wu-ftp where the connection is accepted by
the server and then about 1-2 mins later, the server send the "login in now"
command... ?
This even happens on the LAN side of things...try connecting to
ftp://ftp.railroad.co.za

Yeah, it is a brand new drive and the dummy burn at 8x worked fine with the
650 CD but failed miserably with the 700. I guess it really is the media
after all.
