Older versions only recognize partitions as large as 128Mb.

Are you using encrypted passwords? In order to get a Linux box talking to
Win98 or NT you need to used encrypted samba passwords. If you need more
info on how to do this just ask.
Remember to use the 'mksmbpasswd' and 'smbpasswd' commands...

I've been having very similar problems with my ADSL connection here.
Basically, I can't get past the peer I'm connecting to. Because the problem
lies at my network provider, I can't tell for sure what's going on, but the

I have installed Zentropix RT-Linux, which at this time is RedHat 5.2 with a
real time scheduler.
I'm new with Linux, so I'm having some problems.

I just finished setting up a mail server for the first time. I am using
POP3 and have disabled IMAP since I won't be using that. I have a domain
name that is in the DNS system on the Internet. I have entered one of my
hosts into the sendmail.cw file to allow it to relay for that host. So fa

I found that I could not. I then saw that it was not started, so i started
it with the command:
/etc/rc.d/initd/smb start
everything looks fine, but I sti

Someone might be trying to see if you have a socks server, and if it allows
requests from outside your domain. They can then use your socks server to
"mask" their real address. I had someone trying to do that with our socks
server. Fortunatly I had it set up only to allow from within my domain.
As far as I know yes, you can , as long as you do not use the companies logo,
example, RED HAT.
