The subject says it all. 6.0 detected my parallel port and made it
available for my printer, just fine. 6.1 cannot find it. This is a dual
boot system. LPT1/lp0 is assigned IRQ 7 by W98. lpd is running, according
to top. lpc shows no print queues. Executing the comand lptest > /dev/lp0
(or 1,2, etc) produces "No such device or directory". There is an lp0
entry in /dev.
I don't know where to begin to deal with this odd one.
