If you mean the output file from the R CMD check, "00install". This provides
the same info as the console window when I build using the command R CMD
INSTALL -build slo. I can see that many people get this error message with an
additional line going more into detail, as f.x.:

Thanks for the reply. The test package build I did using the skeleton package
was in the same folder as the one I'm using now for the custom 'slo' package,
so that is not the problem.
I just investigated whether it was an issue with program rights regarding
downloading and installin
