If you mean the output file from the R CMD check, "00install". This provides 
the same info as the console window when I build using the command R CMD 
INSTALL -build slo. I can see that many people get this error message with an 
additional line going more into detail, as f.x.:
In addition: Warning message:
In file(file, "r", encoding = encoding) :
  cannot open file 'test.R': No such file or directory
...but I don't - and can't find any arguments to build or check, which provides 
additional information (for me).
