Well it works just fine here, but i have this in freshclam.conf:
DatabaseMirror db.us.clamav.net
instead of:
DatabaseMirror database.clamav.net
Just a guess, maybe you shouldn't run freshclam too often , every 2 or 3
hours is allright.

I would like to echo a message during 'mktexlsr' on some ports, which
are done via @exec / @unexec. mktexlsr can take a while on large texmf
trees and on slow computers, so I would like to inform the user that
