I'll start a proper review process with the goal of being ready for Plasma 6.5

But you're right, I'll merge all into plasma-login-manager and go from there.

Hi,
Jonathan announced that he will step back from doing Plasma releases.
This means for 6.4 and forward we need someone else to do releases
or multiple persons that share the work (didn't quite work out for frameworks).

Thank you for doing this work which probably many people find boring

There's no point asking users to check the state of things if we

We definitely want to keep that soft freeze before a release of any name.

we need a bit more time?
I'm a bit worried that we don't have a good way to track what's now

At this point, yes.
David
Hi,
the original plan for Plasma 6.3 was to require Qt 6.8 (as the wiki currently
notes). However FreeBSD so far didn't gain Qt 6.7 and we never bumped it.
The first Beta is tomorrow. So I think we just go with 6.7?

Do it, but given it's an cross-repo change lets do it after alpha
rather than rushing.
David
t plasma-workspace build depends on KWin and
KWin has a runtime dependency on plasma-workspace.
I think it's not a full cycle since installing plasma-workspace does not need
anything from KWin but maybe it can cause problems for distributions?

Without an SDDM release you won't get the plasma theme. So for

We don't need it for the alpha, and even using git master wouldn't

There is a thread at

Given I'm quoted, I said we shouldn't rush clients to not be on Xwayland.
These are just Kicad's known issues, it'll be longer to fix all the
issues that come up after they're ported.
That's what Xwayland is for, and we've put a lot of effort into it.

For kwayland I would suggest to keep it in it's own repo kept being
called kwayland
Dialog is in Plasma-framework which is moving to workspace anyway. I'm
not sure of the status of that move is.
I would put suggest putting D&D stuff in plasma-framework (or whatever
it ends up being called)
b) merge it into the gamepad-kcm repo itself
I would suggest doing this. It'll be easiest for future gamepad-kcm
devs to find than any other repo, and means it'll be obvious if it
ever becomes obsoleted.
