this kind of inconsistency is exactly what keeps this kind of approach out of
the main modules. why should the user be allowed to only do certai

the issue is that people keep reinventing that graphicswidget-in-a-
scrollwidget and connecting up their models to it by hand. it wou

Hi, not sure who's the responsible on that, blame says 73% of lines are from
"leonhard" but CIA says he left KDE time ago, copyright mentions John so i'm
mailing for John and plasma-devel (as replacement of leonhard).
In plasma/widgets/signalplotter.cpp there is code like this

Hmmare you sure that containments inside containments are not supported ?
=(

Hello! :)
Some people pointed me that it would be nice to have a message indicating the
problems of adding a remote widget from an untrusted host. Like a warning or
something like that to warn users that remote widgets may harm their PCs..
What do you think about ?
Cheers!

I know that that functionality belongs in a Containment, but since
containments in containments are not supported i had to use an Applet.
And i know that this applet will never have all the functionalities the
containments have, but this isn't my goal. I wanted to develop a simple
applet to group o

this functionality belongs in a Containment, not an Applet.
we have two applets right now th

we already have one item delegate in libplasma, we i suppose we could have
another.
exporting Plasma::Style is not an option

I think that he already did that:

set(ENABLE_REMOTE_WIDGETS TRUE)
endif(QCA2_FOUND)
So, try a

The Qt Model/View framework is being forgotten for Plasma widgets. I like the
folderview's panel mode and I wanted to make a generic quick access widget
similar. If it were made as a View, anybody else could plug any model to it.
Code less, create more ;)
Think of the konsole and konqueror prof

Hi Shantanu,
I had some time on my hands this weekend so I went on ahead and
decided to do some work with the PlasMate editor component in an
attempt to make it able to actually load project files when they are
clicked.
Just letting you know since the editor is technically your domain :)
As alway
Hi!
I've added in kdereview/plasma/applets an applet i made recently. It is, as the
name
suggests, an applet that lets you contain and group other applets. You can put
it on
the desktop or on the panel and then drag other applets from the add applet
widget
inside it. it puts the applet in a
