article counts to give me an idea of which groups are real (ie. used)

there's a lot of newsgroups on a lot of different servers for which
I've got killfiles (or rather their equivalent in Pan), read message
lists, etc. that it would truly suck to lose.

Ah you're using KDE, well i know that the qt-gtk engine was the problem
on SUSE 10.0, after removing the qt-gtk engine pan had it's colors back.

Removing a news server is only possible by editing the servers.xml file
in ~/.pan2 it doesn't work via the gui.
I select remove and nothing happens.
