[Pan-users] bug report

2017-09-23 Thread Ruben Safir
I'm getting Pan hung up on a specific group alt.os.linux and I don't know why, but it locks the interface completely. The only hin I have is perhaps a problem with utf-8 chars in the subject line of one of the messages that is manifesting an error message as this: (pan:8850): Pango-WARNING **: I

[Pan-users] selecting correct posting profile?

2017-09-23 Thread David Melik
So, currently I post to both Usenet and Gmane which is great. It's a little weird I have to manually select the second posting profile in the list every time posting in Gmane (otherwise get an 'error') though Pan already of course has the record that all the Gmane groups are on the Gmane serve

[Pan-users] get new headers regularly?

2017-09-23 Thread David Melik
Isn't there something you can set (possibly for each server) like 'get new headers every n minutes,' and n might have some default (60, 30, 15, whatever?) Or, do you have to wait all day, then realize maybe there are a lot of new posts you hadn't got notification for, finally check it manually

[Pan-users] show quoted text?

2017-09-23 Thread David Melik
Many articles I read say 'quoted text muted.' Is there no option to display it in every article by default? ___ Pan-users mailing list Pan-users@nongnu.org https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/pan-users

[Pan-users] Pan doesn't usually minimize to system tray

2017-09-23 Thread David Melik
Pan doesn't usually minimize to system tray. Minimizing it *never* disappears it from the taskbar/panel. I have to select the system tray icon instead, and that only minimizes it maybe 5% to 10% of tries. ___ Pan-users mailing list Pan-users@nongnu
