There is no action to email the reports. You can export them as either html
or csv, and then email that file from your email application, but it's not
done automatically.
Also, there's some work in a minimal web version, but it's still far from
being usable by general public.

csv headers, but you'll know better.

FYI - I am using KmyMoney 3.98.1 on Mepis 11 (Debian Squeeze based)
I was able to get the Quantity corrected to show the proper decimal point.
I also realized the reason my quantity of shares was becoming my fund
value was because KmyMoney had current market value

which version of Ubuntu are you using? That will give us a clue on
what commands you have to use to downgrade to 0.8 for a quick
conversion to the new XML format.
The binary file is very old, .a lot older than 0.8. Even KMyMoney 1.0
is frozen and out of maintenance by now.
