Thank you for the whole explanation. It took a bit of work put it all
together but it seems to work well after the few test that I've done.

Thanks for your answers. At least I know that it's possible to do it
without having a complete independent install (probably in a vm).
If you can find the info to do the side by side installation, it would
be really helpful. And yes, I'll be sure to keep my backup working.
