Hello Greg, which version of Ubuntu are you using? That will give us a clue on what commands you have to use to downgrade to 0.8 for a quick conversion to the new XML format. The binary file is very old, .a lot older than 0.8. Even KMyMoney 1.0 is frozen and out of maintenance by now. Regards, Al
