Hi, Thanks for your answers. At least I know that it's possible to do it without having a complete independent install (probably in a vm). If you can find the info to do the side by side installation, it would be really helpful. And yes, I'll be sure to keep my backup working. Regards, Jon

I've been investigating a feature request for fedora packaging, https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1423441 I presumed this was to enable the sqlcipher plugin, so I worked to provide the qt private headers/sources which were required (again, as far as my understanding of kmymoney/plugins
