of the error? Currently, with the kernel version 5.023.93 (I think), I can
boot normally. However, I still sometimes get annoying flickering of the
display, it is rare, but happens.

I have the same issue on 16.04, but it appears my kernels are WAY behind
what you guys have - 4.4.0-170-generic.
Anyway, for those who don't want to mess with kerls changes or blanket
system updates yet, I found a feasible workaround that works for me:

I tested the Kernel Version 4.19-rc3 and my PC is working normally
again.
The error is clearly in the kernel versions 4.13 - 4.17, because these
have also tested. I could not test the 4.18 kernel.
Currently I can only use Linux Mint with the kernel 4.4 stable

In a system with two monitors operating side-by-side, the system behaves almost
normally. (Only users who have installed Concky, for example, will notice that
the monitor management is faulty.) If Concky runs two desklets on different
monitors, a desklet will be hidden.
I'm uploading the Xorg.0.log file now. Active Kernel: 4.15.0-34 (screen
management with error)
If more log files are needed I can upload them. For this I need the
names of the log file.

same problem here with a MEDION MD 96500 Notebook. wistron_btns causes a

I use latest kernel 4.19.8 and have same problem see down
i use pppoe with 1k+ users if i activate shaper with hfsc and imq machine crash
and reboot
after stop shaper for test mashine only send in dmesg bug error mesg.

Good day, my wifi stopped connecting to WPA2 Enterprise, right after
I've upgraded BIOS. The BIOS upgrade could cause this; I was also
playing with bluetooth headphones which could be connected.
The Wifi works properly in Windows 10, so I assume it's not a hardware
bug.

Hold on please. IT informed us that there is something broken with our
WPA2 Enterprise WiFi hotspots. A connection to an unencrypted WiFi works
correctly; the issue only starts to manifest when I try to connect to
our WPA2 Enterprise wifi.
Perhaps it's the hotspot which is actually broken, and not
Okay, false alarm. As the IT fixed the hotspot, now I can connect to it
without any issues. I never expected that wifi can respond by crash to a
faulty hotspot...

Installed the Linux Kernel HWE-18.04 stuff.
Now running 4.18.0-13-generic
Works fine.
But the standard kernel is still 4.15

I'm using Ubuntu 18.04 (Linux Mint 19.1 Tessa) with HWE.
Since kernel 4.18 sometimes while waking up from standby my user session crash.
I assume that my attached external USB to SATA HDD could be cause this kernel
bug.
