201408-15387 Dell Latitude E7250, a Broadwell-U UMA system [8086:1616]
With kittyhawk 2.0 image (3.19.0-26 #27), I can reproduce the following issues:
1. Normal <-> 180 display rotation, it would cause black screen.
2. VT switch, the screen will flick and the *ERROR* message could be found in
dmes

inch with i7. The only proprietary driver running is bcmwl. Because of
the fact that freezing happens immediately on changing Network settings,
I think that bcmwl is the cause.

Seems Samsung fixed this bug in kernel

and blacklist is no longer needed. Maybe we should remove blacklist and
apply this patch instead?

If possible I would try partitioning so you have extra space and can set up a
new ext4 partition on the Controller for every test. Then deleting before
running the next one.

firmware yourself before, I had to remove it:
1. sudo apt-get -y purge ath10k-dkms

trying to install a particular package. Please execute the following

Even though I was able to boot up with kernels v3.19 or v4.1 smoothly. On
closer inspection of Dmesg logs. There is an I/O error during bootup for 3.19
and 4.1 which I don't see for v3.16 kernel. This error is similar to the one
we get in 15.04 installation to RAID.

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer

sudo apt-get install -f

It appears the .deb file is corrupt. Probably because your file system
is full. You will want to clear up some space, maybe delete some older
kernels if you have several install.
Once there is free space run the following from a terminal:
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get
