is impossible however, as the system doesn't crash until after GUI
login. I can switch to text only (ctrl-alt-F2) and login that way. A

I have the same problem on Pop!_OS 20.04. I temporarily disabled AER by
using "sudo kernelstub -a pci=noaer".
Ubuntu uses GRUB, so append GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT line in

As this is subscribed to field-high and field-medium I am unsubscribing
