Yes, Ubuntu 14.04 was my previous version, and I did not have this booting problem. Unfortunately I cannot test an upstream kernel as I am using the most recent BitCurator 1.8.0 release (https://confluence.educopia.org/display/BC), which does not package a later kernel. -- You received this bug
