Every time I reboot my desktop my bluetooth headset will fail to connect
until I manually go through forget device -> new pairing.

After upgrading from 20.04 to 22.04 I'm facing same issue on Thinkpad E480.
When I boot older kernel 5.13.0-41-generic it works as expected. Seems that
issue is related to newer kernel 5.15 or a ubuntu specific kernel patch.

I got the same soundcard and suffering the same problem.
I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and a 7.1 soundsystem.
Enabling "Audigy A" in alsamixer enabled the analog output somehow but i
am getting no output on the side speakers. I have already tried enabling
every option in alsamixer.

works, bluetooth doesn't. When wifi is enabled, however, CPU load of
ksoftirqd/2 ramps to 100% and stays there. I guess this is the CPU load

Having the same issue on a Lenovo X230 with a 3.13.0-24-generic kernel.
Maybe worth mentioning:
