The reason this occurred to me is because i switched GPU from nvidia to

Hibe
So I have a system that this happens to. Tablet model is CTH480S.
The thing is that this setup used to work until today (kernel update 2
days ago? Although running with an old version of the kernel show the
same problem now).
The work around is add wacom into /etc/modules for now, if anyone is
in
It seems like the bug is back with 14.10. Entering password works, after
password is entered, the screen is locked.
My work around of binding an xrandr call to a hotkey still works for
this.

I /think/ this is working. I have no observed any spikes with no_turbo

I think it is working with your kernel. Just did some android

Your kernel. Again I'm not exactly sure how to reproduce this reliably...
So I'll take another stab at it the next time I compile android.

Today this seem to be working. Compiled android for about 3 hours and

I'm not sure if this is actually working.
However, that might be a bug upstream.

Sure. I'll take a look at it. My problem is that I don't actually know
how to reliably reproduce this bug yet.

Also, intel_pstate should be enabled by default. Thermal daemon[1] is
also a good addition to keep temperature in check.

Public bug reported:
If you're on ubuntu_saucy and enabled intel_pstate like you should via
the kernel boot parameter intel_pstate=enabled, you will find that the
no_turbo setting[1] sometimes does not work.
This is fixed in 3.12[2] and it should be backported to Saucy as it is a
critical feature

Does anyone here notice graphics slow down? After a couple minutes of
game play with CSS, my framerate would drop to about 20fps (status of
other activities on the computer will also slowdown).
This did not happen in 13.04 but is occuring with 13.10.
