Any news?
This very annoying bug is affecting all the users of the biggest VPS provider
in Italy that unfortunately chose Ubuntu 24.04 for their instance.
Syntoms are:

module_blacklist=coresight_etm4x
'fixes' it, but the modeset is still totally messed up on SMCI's grace
hopper setup.

Having the same issue with an existing installation of kubuntu. When
installing a fresh kubuntu on the same hardware (only difference on a
brand new nvme drive) I have the issue after first boot even with that

On Ubuntu 22.04, the web camera does not work. It worked previously
until about a week ago, after a few operating system updates. One of the
updates may have broken the camera functionality.
In apps like web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge) the camera does not
work in Google
Not running any VMs but I did have SR-IOV and VT-X enabled in the BIOS.

here`s how I did it, step by step.
1) install acpica-tools
apt-get install acpica-tools
2) Grab the DSDT of your device
cat /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/DSDT > dsdt.dat
3) Decompile the dsdt.dat
iasl -d dsdt.dsl
4) Open the dsdt.dsl with whatever editor tickles your fancy
e.g. xed d

I managed to rudimentarily fix it via DSDT. So far everything seems to be in
working order.
I will attached three aml files for BIOS Revisions 1.09, 1.10, 1.12 and another
required file 01_acpi.
One of the aml files needs to be copied into /boot (acording to your BIOS Rev.)
and renamed into dsd

We received just shy of 1000 A3510s, split up into multiple shipments. The

I just ran into this on a 18.04 LTS to 20.04 LTS upgrade
Note that I was actually able to use the /etc/kernel-img.conf workaround
with two properties:

Je n'ai pas encore testé le noyau 5.10. Cependant j'ai installé la version
5.4.96-050496 avec laquelle il y a une amélioration toutefois par moment
l'écran se fige encore de temps en temps pendant quelques secondes puis
devient noir et tout redevient normal. Le pc ne se fige plus comme av

- Kernel: 5.4.0-65-generic
- OS: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS
- Machine: Dell Precision 5550
- Headset: Jabra Evolve 75

I have had my wifi adaptor crash a few times. Basically the wifi icon
disappears and I'm off the network. I can't get it back until I reboot
the laptop. However, it seems that there are issues reported in dmesg
which indicate there are other firmware related issues.
