Description:Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Release:16.04
Hotplugging Dell's WD15 Thunderbolt cause a system panic with regular
kernel 4.4.0-28. Using http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-
ppa/mainline/v4.6.3-yakkety/ kernel. WD15 works if it is connected to
laptop during boot time.
Christopher, I runnig kernel 4.6.3 since it at least parttly supports my
thunderbolt dock (Dell wd15) offical kernel 4.4.0-28 wont work with it,
when I try to report problem with 'ubuntu-bug linux' it won't report it
for new kernel, and if I use old one then I can't boot with dock
attached. Anny su
kernel 4.7-rc6 still same don't work even worse then 4.6.3
