Sudden Read Only Fi
I have the same problem, with Fujitsu Lifebook E557, Ubuntu 18.10,
kernel 4.18.0-17-generic.
After resume from suspend, touchpad doesn't work at all. Keyboard works
somewhat, but some keys are randomly "repete". Reboot doesn't
help, but need to to turn the machine off and on again.

Hello,
just a quick update: using Kernel version 4.15.0-39-generic I was able to
connect to wifi, but after switching on and off some times the Wifi...so the
problem is partially solved, but there is still something not working fine.

Installation
I got it to work, but you need to set it up manually every time you
reboot. First I close bluetooth and bluez by effectively stopping them
(not restarting), then starting them again using systemctl stop/start
bluetooth and sudo /etc/init.d/bluetooth start/stop. Then I start bluez
manager and conne
I applied both solution of #5 and #45. After running the python script
my headset started working correctly. I don't know if it is solution of
#45 or the combination of #5 and #45, but it works now. Thanks!

I've got in touch with Benjamin Tissoires, who kindly provided me with a
two-lines patch that fixed the problem for my Lenovo Yoga 3 11 [1]. He has
afterwards made the patch publicly available at LKML

I'm not sure I did everything right (I'm not an expert in Linux), but my
attempts to apply the patch of THIS thread were always unsuccessful: I could
not compile / add the module and the SD card reader was dead.
It was only when I applied the same manupulations described in post #1

I don't kow exectly why, but I've been abe to resolve ( see now SD cards
and can read/write them!) on my ASUS X551CA with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and
kernel 3.8.0-34-generic 64bit.
Please remember that for 12.04 the issue was resolved, but for kernels
following 3.2 the fix was not working anymore .Today
reaction by
