wouldn't suspend when closing the lid. Upon reboot, the laptop froze
before reaching the login screen.
To workaround, I rebooted, held the

I am sorry to report that the error popped up again: this time, after
mounting the drive, then unmounting, then re-mounting, then unmounting--
froze. Had to hard reboot again.
