I think this could have something to do with incompatibilities between
the ubuntu kernel and the zfs system. Basically the kernel overtakes the
zfs system and becomes too new to work with the zfs system

We've been running without issues for 3 months now using a 6.11 kernel
(from linux-oem-24.04b).
We also identified a fix [1] that was merged with 6.9 that was may be
related - at least to similar (but much rarer) issues with 5.15 servers
and 6.8 clients.

I have now been able to find the cause. It was a hardware defect on the
motherboard and not a problem with Ubuntu.
Sorry, but it was very hard to find.
This ticket is therefore invalid from my point of view.
