I just compiled my own 4.13.0-43 kernel reverting all of the above 4
commits and I confirm that this fixes the problem with the horizontal
lines:

using this udev ruleset to disable autosuspend for Kinect device only -
that allows me to use the camera without having to turn autosuspend off
