I've downloaded the patched kernels for both Xenial and Yakkety.
For both I tested copying to drive and ejecting. Also tested just
mounting and ejecting.
In both it worked as expected - no re-mounting of the drive after
ejecting.

I wiped my Pro 5 so that I could roll back all of the testing
configuration changes that I made and am now able to provide two more
updated logs from fresh installs. I have both an MX4 and a Pro 5. The
MX4 successfully handles phonecalls. The Pro 5 doesn't.
Immediately after making test phonecalls
I can not install another version of Ubuntu on my laptop, because it
would affect my work, but I will install the latest build of the kernel
before the next reboot (which is done approximately once per a month).

Video playback was from a separate HDD attached on a SATA 2 port. It is
not a fast machine (HP Microserver with dual core Atom CPU), but there
are no problems playing back this same video in Ubuntu's default video

I'm sorry but it didn't work, now the bluetooth appears as disabled.

It happened from "always", I bought the machine brand new at the end of
July, and after some days of use I just reported the bug.

Michael Doube, thank you for taking the time to report this bug and
helping to make Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug
has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu.
This is a significant bug in Ubuntu. If you need a fix for the bug in
previous versions of Ubuntu,
Microsoft will test the trusty kernel in the coming days. The Xenial
kernel may be getting all the patches from the 4.9 rebase that's
currently in progress.

I have a Dell XPS DE, but I re-install on it a usual Ubuntu 16.04. I have the
same problem and on /etc/bluetooth/main.conf there is "#AutoEnable=false"
(default behavior is anyway AutoEnable=false).
Even by changing it to "true" the problem is still there.
