Just to confirm, I suspect the move to Kernel 4.3 rc6 has got the 5 GHz scanning working. For some reason the device just doesn't want to connect to 5 GHz. Not sure if I can make the adapter connect to explicitly connect to 5 GHz as the network is advertised on both frequency bands. -- You receiv

Hey, I'm running 14.04 on an MSI GS60 laptop. I can't upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu because I need 14.04 for work. I tried installing 4.3 kernel on it and the machine is less stable (sometimes it freezes at bootup - soft lockup-CPU stuck).
