(Moonshot X-Genes). We haven't tested 3.19 in the guest enough to rule

@mpnolan 3.16 is considered an old kernel now. Test with the latest git
and, if you can still reproduce the bug, follow the instructions on
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.video.dri.devel/112025 and report
the bug upstream including the dmesg with drm.debug=0xe boot parameter.

Using the @jsalisbury kernel from comment#7 (same site as @jjo
comment#8) I've just seen the issue reproduced, but after some hours of
stability.
We seen this similarly with i40e-1.2.48, in which cases the module had
to be reloaded (or the machine rebooted) to recover container
networking.

On kernel 3.19.0-30-generic #34-Ubuntu SMP I am still experiencing this, or
similar.
The exact description is this: sometimes it can suspend but if it wakes up, the
next suspend is again the
"immediate wake up" state again.

same problem with Ubuntu 14.10 64x when use matlab to load lots of data
for training. It doesn't kill it after a couple of minutes, it takes
hours and never comes alive again. I have to restart manually and then
my ubuntu can not boot.

With Ubuntu 15.04 it reappeared.
The stick is practically useless.
Reason I found is that the stick registers as USB storage as well and
then is not recognized as modem.
