When I boot from a 3.13.0.x kernel I get a very odd 900 second (15
minute!) pause on boot (see attached dmesg log). Once past the pause
the system works normally and with no issues. If I boot from a 3.2.0.x
kernel there is no pause.

original bug report at the time of suspend came from syslog.1, but now

Much to my surprise, the issue was resolved after a reinstall of the
system. I can't explain why, I don't think there was anything special
with my previous install. Maybe it's related to the fact that the BIOS
is upgraded in the meanwhile, I don't know...
