Once past the pause the system works normally and with no issues. If I boot from a 3.2.0.x kernel there is no pause. $ cat /etc/issue.net Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS $ uname -a Linux ubuntu 3.13.0-61-generic #100-Ubuntu SMP Wed Jul 29 11:22:15 UTC 2015 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux I'm happy to provide any other information that would be useful.
