Would you please let me know why you added the "bios-outdated-a06" tag?
I updated the bios just before originally submitting this bug to confirm
that it wasn't fixed by the BIOS. A06, dated 22 Dec 2014, is the
latest offered by the Australian Dell website.

1) Wifi does not work.
2) All cores are recognized without incident.
3) Sleep works, but just like 3.13.43:
a) immediately after having booted, suspend works.

tried upgrading Ubuntu to 3.13.0.44.51 and the problem came back with a
vengeance (destroyed my software raid configuration of 2 usb 3 drives).
