the moment. However Andrea's work splits huge pages into base pages for
a number of reasons, one of those is memory pressure that would force

The Sony VAIO SVT1313V1ES laptop has a single USB 2.0 port and a single
USB 3.0 port.
Tested booting Saucy as a live image on a USB device. When booting the
live image, if the USB device is in the USB 2.0 port the boot process
will proceed past GRUB. Switching the USB device

Christopher, thank you very much. I have successfully upgraded bios to
A15 - the string "A15" is displayed in the boot screen, also dmidecode
prints the value:
$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version
A15
So far everything is working. I will test the setup and post more
