There no real difference (yakuake uses konsole internally).

Do you have a lame DNS server in the loop? Just an idea, as this is not
reproducible here. Tracing the network traffic with tcpdump/wireshark might

By the way, I just ran `qtdiag` on Windows and it gives an empty string for
manufacturer/model/serial number. Turns out they aren't implemented for Windows
