Ah. That detection is done in Qt. We actually try to handle this nicely
and show a nice message box telling you about your problem. Should
be in Plasma 5.5 onwards.

It's not about mesa, it's about Xephyr that does not support
the GLX extension.
In other words, you cannot run Plasma in Xephyr.
