It has been quite some time, and I have not used BasKet as it appeared either
dead or dying at the time.
I have now installed version 2.50, and the Handbook is indeed accessible via
the Help menu or F1.

Well, I am not upgrading from KOrganizer4 to KOrganizer5; I am using version
5.14.2. However, I took steps 2 & 3 of How to Reproduce.
