Thank you for the quick reply! I was in fact on Ubuntu 21.04 and switching to
Ubuntu 21.10 with a newer Kate activates the respective mode.
There are still a bunch of problems, but I will open a separate issue.

I have tried with -201, but the behaviour is the same. Nothing happens upon

Here I send you the KRITARC file which made the misstake. I run WIN 10 64bit in
