I'll try to avoid deleting desktops. Other than taking up a bit of space in the
Taskbar pager, they're probably harmless.

The "Rows" field value is preserved if (and only if) I keep at least two
virtual desktops when I shutdown the system. In other words, if I delete all
virtual desktops and reboot, Rows is reset.
