For info, CentoOS 6.8 support both : OpenAL and Pulse.
As QtAV team said, only OpenAL is enough for AppImage. See Upstream report on

When I undock the laptop, and then re-dock it, the DisplayPort monitors do not
work, and there are multiple copies of the DisplayPort monitors.
