No, nmake doesn't work either. The failing component is QtWebEngine. Removing /showIncludes from the command-line in the C:\Qt\qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.8.0-alpha\qtwebengine\src\core\Debug_x64 directory where it fails gives more informative output: C:\Qt\qt-everywhere-opensource-src-5.8.0-a
