I followed the instructions in the"Getting the source code" topic at
http://qt-project.org/wiki/Building-Qt-5-from-Git.
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit with the VS2008SP1 com
I wanted to play around with QtQuick and Qt-for-mobile development and
it looks like the weather app demo would be a very good place to start.
Downloaded QtCreator 3.0 (for Mac) and got it up and running for Android
and iOS development very easily.

Is there an existing QtQuick C++ plugin which shows all open windows
(or give access to the window manager) for Linux window managers(like
a taskbar applet showing all open windows).
(I know KDE; Hawaii and Unity 2d do it but KDE and Unity are pulling

I have a modal QDialog which was created in QtDesigner. When it is shown
via exec() on small screens such as a Netbook, its size is reduced to
fit the available space. However, the taskbar is not taken into account
on windows 7. So part of the window is behind the taskbar, in particular
