I had the same problem
To remove the quota, you have to go in the /var/imap/quota directoryand
remove the quota by hand ( the quota file name is user.name, so you can
easily find the quota that stay )
Then launch /usr/cyrus/bin/quota -f ( don't launch the quota unix command )

up cyrus cyradm worked fine, but now when I try and connect to the cyrus
server on the local machine it asks for a Password, and then for a IMAP

Thank you all for your replys. The problem was to do with
authentication. I made an error in the setting up of imap

We've used a Thawte cert with no problems.
I don't see why a Versign cert wouldn't work.

I couldn't find any,

it is again.
New changes:
o Fixed stupid bug with free()'ing the dn rather than the filter
o Added a ton of LDAP structure freeing -- didn't know there were
methods for doing this :) So, n

Here's one that will do that, provided that you have installed

I have a question for anyone who may be able to help me.
We have just migrated our mail servers to Cyrus from Mercury (Pegasus
Mail) on Novell. One of the greatest features of Pegasus was the
ability for the system administrator to "become" another user -
essentially allowing the sysadmin to tro

This should've been fixed in 2.0.15. When you delete 'user.foo', all
var/imap/user/fo/foo.* files /var/imap/quo
They are probably left over from when I was on previous versions...I've been
following the updates, but hadn't gotten around to doing something about
this problem until now.
Thanks,
