First time writing e-mail for asking help.
I try to configure cyrus+web-cyradm on Ubuntu. everything want well, except the
web-cyradm.
For month I am fighting this issue and in vain.
using "unixhierarchysep: yes" I can create accounts using Web-cyradm (version:
web-cyradm-svn-0.5.5)
in the cyrus

2.0.16.
The users are authenticated via saslauthdb.

Hi Daniel,
It sounds like the pwcheck server isn't set up correctly. If you
are using a newer version of Cyrus, you'll probably want to use
saslauthd; I found it more flexible and easier to configure. I can't
remember where the documentation was that I used, but it was pretty
straightforw

Yes. I'm not near a Unix box at the moment (more's the pity), but
in /etc/syslog.conf you'll have an entry for either local6.* or
*.
I know I'm replying to my own message, but that isn't as dumb as the
cause of the problem I had - one of them anyway.
Notice the master process cannot create the sieve listener or the
lmtpunix listener? Well, of course not. I gave it a bogus path in
the cyrus.conf!
Changed this line:
lmtpuni
Check the imapd.conf file in /etc... is cyrus the admin user? If not
login as the user specified after the admin: line and try to create the
mailbox again.
