Hi Daniel, It sounds like the pwcheck server isn't set up correctly. If you are using a newer version of Cyrus, you'll probably want to use saslauthd; I found it more flexible and easier to configure. I can't remember where the documentation was that I used, but it was pretty straightforward. What do you want to authenticate against? PAM, sasldb, etc?
