Is there a server-side function of IMAP that can be set to expunge
email automatically upon a move or delete?
2. Is there a client based setting in Outlook that will allow one to
expunge immediately upon a delete or move?
Many thanks,

I feel like I am getting pretty close to having this work. I've been
stuck for awhile on this one issue and I cannot find documentation to
troubleshoot mailboxes and mail client access properly.
I can authenticate to the server using a mail client now. However, when

Oops. Forgot that I had backed up my /etc/sasldb2 and did not re-create a
cyrus user account in the new sasldb2. Sorry. :-/
This does bring up an interesting question though:
I created the cyrus user as follows:

This is driving me nuts. Finally got cyrus-imapd v2.2.3 to compile and
install. I am able to test authentication successfully using imtest.
Now when I try and run cyradm I get the below error. Can anyone please
help me get over this hump? I cannot seem to get around this issue.
Thanks!
